Robert's Octagon Pleases The Smokers.

The Inn at Fossebridge has created a very different away from it all shelter for customers who want to smoke....and it is a real success.

Owner Robert Jenkins has provided them with an Octagon, complete with heating and lighting and overlooking four acres of glorious grounds.

"We understand and support the laws on smoking inside pubs and hotels, but hate some of the shoddy shelters people create for their customers", he said.

"Our whole redevelopment plan has been based on producing a nice place again and I don't see why smokers should not be catered for in the same way as non smokers".

The wooden, octagonal structure includes wooden chairs and a table to match all those for alfresco dining in the grounds.

Robert, a reformed smoker himself, said:"Our customers really like it; we've provided heating and lighting so although the side walls have an intricate, open wooden framework, you can enjoy a drink or a meal...and smoke..in very nice surroundings".

The 300 year old Inn at Fossebridge, between Cirencester and Northleach, has a reputation for innovation and quality, with eight beautiful bedrooms named after Cotswold towns and villages, excellent food, and grounds with a lake, river and a lot of wildlife.

Recent additions have been a redvelopment of part of a barn as a beautiful cottage for Robert and Veronica Jenkins, introduction of carp into the lake to rid it of weeds, and research and development to cut carbon emissions.
